With the objective of enhancing operator and maintainer readiness, CMID Defence designs and conducts training for its customers on Cockerill® equipment and weapon systems but also on various types of non-proprietary weapon systems. The range of theory and practice lessons – including simulation and live fire – is mainly delivered in customer’s facilities using modern technologies such as Virtual and Augmented Reality, e-learning and/or using real customer’s equipment. At the request of our customer, it can also be deployed in the modern training area from John Cockerill Defense (the Cockerill® Campus of the John Cockerill Group at Commercy, France) and in an instruction and development area (IDA) on the Suippes military camp (France) thanks to our relationship with the John Cockerill Group. CMI Defence also install, maintain and operate simulators, mainly the Agueris® simulators of John Cockerill Defense. Virtual immersive, mobile, embedded or interconnected, simulators provide customized training solutions for the entire range of military requirements, ranging from basic exercises to various operational and tactical levels.

CMI Defence LLC delivers Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) services to customers at each standard level of maintenance for Armored vehicle Systems and more especially for John Cockerill Defence Systems. CMI Defence complies with Military MRO standards and delivers high-class MRO services to or in collaboration with Armed Forces in their facilities or in CMI Defence facilities. Level of service provided to customer relates to customer’s requirements.

CMI Defence delivers the complete set of logistic services:

· Sale of spare parts based on catalogs or lists defined according to the users’ needs
· Proposal of spare parts kit according to a usage profile and the customer’s intervention capacities
· Logistic flow (transport and administrative documents)
· Storage
· Diagnosis and repair of military parts, systems and subsystems.
· Configuration management.
· Obsolescence management.

With the objective of enhancing system readiness, CMI Defence supports its customers throughout all stages of operation of their systems. It therefore deploys capabilities to maintain land-based military equipment in operational conditions: refurbishing, obsolescence management and spare parts for turrets and armament, reconditioning, modernization for armoured vehicles. This support throughout the systems’ life cycle includes provision of technical documentation and specific tools. CMI Defence Through Life Support takes into account customers’ operational objectives and budgetary constraints while delivering the best service either in the customer’s or CMI Defence On request of the customer, CMI Defence can manage fully or partially the maintenance of the fleet and the infrastructure.
